Location: Cedar Rapids, Iowa City, Coralville, Marion, Hiawatha, IA, and surrounding areas (No relocation)
Responsibilities:
- Perform oral health assessments and screenings
- Clean and scale teeth to remove plaque and calculus
- Apply fluoride treatments and sealants
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques
- Administer local anesthesia when necessary
- Assist the dentist during procedures
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
Requirements:
- Experience in performing vital signs and medical documentation
- Knowledge of dental anatomy and oral health conditions
- Proficiency in dental software systems such as Eaglesoft, Dentrix, CAD, or Epic
- Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and maintaining patient confidentiality
- Ability to work effectively in a dental office setting
- Valid Dental Hygienist license required
Work Hours:
- Monday, Tuesday, Thursday: 8am-5pm
- Wednesday: 1pm-6pm
- Friday: Closed
