In this role, you’ll provide a consistent, positive, and satisfying claims experience for clients through proper investigation, evaluation, negotiation, and settlement of property claims. You’ll also have the opportunity to learn and use innovative technologies, such as drones for property inspections and virtual claim handling software.

Position Overview:

• Role: Property Field Claims Adjuster Sr
• Location: Northern Minnesota (including St. Cloud, Brainerd, and surrounding areas)
• Compensation: For Review
• Employment Type: Regular, Full-Time
• Work Environment: This role allows for full-time fieldwork within the specified territory, with a work-from-home and virtual office environment.

How does a Sr. Property Claims Representative make an impact?

• Investigates claims by determining applicable policy coverage, evaluating, negotiating, and settling assigned claims.
• Initiates contact with insureds, claimants, and all relevant parties to gather basic information, obtain recorded statements (when necessary), and explain the overall claims process.
• Completes physical and/or virtual inspections of damaged property, evaluates damages, and prepares written estimates according to policy provisions and liability.

Qualifications:

Basic Requirements:

• Claims Adjusting experience working as a full-time employee for a Carrier (Insurance Company). We are not looking for independent adjusters.
• Adjuster must live within the territory for this position (Northern Minnesota).
• Strong technical skills, including Xactimate.
• Excellent communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Multilingual skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel, Xactimate, and other claims estimating software.
• Competent knowledge of residential and commercial construction techniques.

What are the 3-4 non-negotiable requirements of this position?

• Claims Adjusting experience with a Carrier (Insurance Company).
• Residence within the Northern Minnesota territory.
• Proficiency with Xactimate.
• Strong communication skills.

What are the nice-to-have skills?

• Construction background.
• Restoration experience.
• Drone experience.
