Field Service Technician

Specialized Recruiting Group is seeking a Field Service Technician to fill a Direct Hire opening in Springfield, OH!
The hours are 7 AM to 3:30 PM!

Responsibilities:

1. Perform equipment installation, removal, maintenance, and/or repair as specified in the customer order.
2. Use tools, measurement & test equipment as dictated by the specific equipment and situation.
3. Record testing information on applicable forms.
4. Determine and document the cause of failure.
5. Advise the supervisor or Field Service Coordinator of additional materials/parts required to complete the job.
6. Perform and document final testing and/or confirmation measurements.
7. Return all completed job cards, initial & final measurement & test documentation, photos, etc., to the Field Service office.

Qualifications:

1. Previous experience with Electrical / Mechanical Repair.
2. Previous experience with Field Service work is a plus.
3. High School Diploma or GED.
4. Must have a Valid Driver’s License.
5. Ability to use and understand testing, measurement & data collection; diagnostic, troubleshooting & failure analysis equipment.
6. Knowledge of or ability to learn safety rules and procedures, and operating policies and procedures.
7. The company manufactures and services electric motors. The hours are 7 AM to 3:30 PM.
8. Travel is local, and the person will be home every night.

Must-Have:

1. Electrical / Mechanical Repair experience.
2. Industrial machine experience.
3. Valid Driver’s License.
4. High School Diploma.
5. Open to Field Service Work.

Nice to have:

1. Certificate or associate degree in Electrical / Mechanical related field.
