Raizan Solutions LLC is hiring on behalf of our client, and we do not charge candidates. This exciting opportunity is for a Substation Project Engineer in the Columbus area, with a hybrid work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage detailed design projects for medium to extra-high voltage substations (15kV to 500kV).
- Develop and review one-line diagrams, SCADA systems, physical layouts, and equipment selection.
- Maintain quality, scheduling, and budgeting across multiple concurrent projects.
- Perform QA/QC reviews and manage client relationships.
- Occasional travel for project-related tasks.
Qualifications:
- Experience in substation design from 15kV to 138kV, with knowledge of IEEE/ANSI standards.
- Proven project leadership experience in managing multiple projects.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in substation design from 230kV to 500kV.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or relevant technology.
- 10+ years of experience in substation design.
- Experience managing small project teams.
