Note: This role has been re-opened. Previous candidates were rejected due to a lack of specific skills for the Snowflake database. We are looking for a senior Snowflake engineer!

Additional Information:

1. This role is Contract to Hire.

3. Candidates with Financial Services Industry experience will be preferred.

Must Have:

1. Minimum 8 years of experience in Data Management and specialized in Analytical data warehouse.
2. Minimum 3 years hands-on experience with Snowflake cloud warehouse and its features.
3. Good knowledge of cloud AWS architecture and its services.
4. Experience in creating and analyzing SQL and PL/SQL procedures for data integration.
5. Developing ETL pipelines in and out of the data warehouse using a combination of Python and Snowflake SQL.
6. Developing scripts using Unix shell to extract and load data.
7. Good understanding of logical and physical data models to support analytics and business intelligence.
8. Experience in creating SQL-based processes to build slowly changing dimensions and various types of facts.
9. Experience in Data Lineage Analysis, Data Profiling Mapping Integration, ETL
   Validation Cleansing Masking Subsetting, Profiling Archiving, Purging Virtualization,
   Metadata Management, Performing Unit Test, System integration test Support, UAT.
10. Involved in SQL performance tuning, root causing failures, and resolving technical issues.
11. Engaged in projects using Agile methodology and documentation using Jira.
12. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
