Raizan Solutions LLC is hiring for our client, and we do not charge candidates. We are seeking a Senior Electrical Designer with a strong background in HVAC and plumbing systems design. This is a local-only role, so only local candidates will be considered.
Job Summary:
As a Senior Electrical Designer, you will play a key role in designing electrical systems for HVAC and plumbing applications. You will work on diverse projects, including both small-scale renovations and large commercial construction. The ideal candidate will be proficient in AutoCAD and Revit and have a deep understanding of industry standards and codes such as NEC and NFPA.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop electrical design drawings and schematics for HVAC and plumbing systems.
- Collaborate with HVAC and plumbing engineers for system integration.
- Select and specify electrical components, equipment, and materials.
- Perform load calculations and sizing of electrical systems.
- Maintain and update detailed design documentation.
- Coordinate with contractors and subcontractors to ensure accurate and timely installation.
- Provide technical support during construction and commissioning phases.
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in electrical, HVAC, and plumbing design.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field (required).
- 3+ years of experience in electrical design focused on HVAC and plumbing systems.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit (required).
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes and standards such as NEC and NFPA.
- Experience with building automation systems (e.g., BACnet, Modbus).
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage projects from start to finish with minimal supervision.
Big Plusses:
- Professional Engineering (PE) license.
- Experience with BIM (Building Information Modeling) software.
- Certification in energy management or sustainability.
Compensation:
