MECHANICAL DESIGNER ENGINEER

SKILLS: SolidWorks, Hydraulics, Mechanical Engineering, Design Engineering, Plumbing, Electrical

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• We are currently seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team. This full-time position offers excellent benefits and a great opportunity for growth with longevity.
• With a weekday work week, Monday-Friday, and dayshift hours, this position provides a stable schedule for those who need to enjoy a familiar and consistent routine.

MUST HAVE:

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering
• 2 years of experience in Mechanical Design with an emphasis in hydraulics
• Experience in materials (various metals and plastics)

NICE TO HAVE:

• Plumbing and electrical experience a plus, but not necessary
• Experience in electrical components, construction, and/or maintenance services is preferred but not required

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Mechanical Engineering Degree (BSME)
• Two years of experience in Mechanical Design with an emphasis in hydraulics
• A quick learner with good communication skills
• A team player who is positive and motivated with a strong work ethic
• Ability to work with a team to achieve results
• Plumbing and electrical experience a plus, but not necessary
• Experience in electrical components, construction, and/or maintenance services is preferred but not required

THIS POSITION REQUIRES:

• Proficiency in SolidWorks
• Knowledge of hydraulics
• Knowledge of materials (various metals and plastics)
• Designing and testing new products
• Designing molded components
• Improvements to existing products
• Sourcing parts and materials
• Developing BOMs
• Good understanding of the principles of mechanical engineering
