We are seeking an Industrial Engineer for our Corporate Office in Auburn Hills, MI.

- Develops process, standards and capacities for all new quote requests
- Responsible for process, standards and capacity changes for all new engineering change requests from customers
- Manages plant capacities for all flexible equipment in the company
- Performs Capacity Analysis and related studies used for short and long term manufacturing planning
- Creates & maintains work standards for direct labor & machine cycle times used for manufacturing performance standards.
- Performs time studies, line balancing & capacity analysis. Uses pre-determined time study techniques (eg. Work
- Factor, MTM). Conduct studies in operations to maximize work flow and spatial utilization.
- Independently compiles data and analyzes results for project or team review.
- Demonstrates increasing knowledge and capability as engineering experience increases.
- Conduit from corporate office to the plants to communicate all new opportunities and quote changes, capturing the impact(s) these have on capacity, floor space, labor, etc
- Cross functional communication with tooling, engineering, purchasing, R&D, manufacturing, quality, commercial and the plant to ensure stated process aligns with all departments
- Responsible for ensuring that customer requirements are met.
- Requires a Bachelor’s
- Degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or Science.
- Previous internship, work experience, or knowledge of engineering, automotive, or manufacturing strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated knowledge of standard Industrial Engineering techniques.
Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Access, Project, Word, and PowerPoint.
