Industrial Electrician Supervisor

Raizan Solutions LLC is currently seeking a qualified Industrial Electrician Supervisor to join our client’s underground zinc operation within a 2-hour drive of the Thousand Islands, Lake Ontario shoreline, the Adirondack Mountains, and world-class skiing at Lake Placid. Additionally, Montreal and Ottawa are only 2-3 hours away.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage the electrical team.
• Prioritize, coordinate, and lay out daily tasks.
• Inventory, schedule, and order materials and supplies for upcoming work.
• Assist with troubleshooting and repairing electrical components, including PLC panels, drives, motors, fans, VFDs, transformers, pumps, and generators.
• Work with 4-20 mA, 4160, 13.8, AC up to 480v, 5kva, and DC voltages.
• Read and follow blueprints and schematics.
• Provide support to the electrical team underground and on the surface as required.
• Develop knowledge of hoisting/crushing operations and assist in troubleshooting these systems.

Qualifications:

• Must Have:
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant industrial electrical experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Proficiency in PLC and DC/AC/Drive systems.
  • Effective communication skills for interaction with department managers and employees.
  • Strong time management skills.
  • Ability to comprehend written and verbal instructions for safe and efficient job performance.
  • Capability to work in the U.S.
