Responsibilities:
- Develop PLC programs and HMI interfaces for industrial automation systems using Allen Bradley, Schneider, and other leading brands.
- Design and implement control strategies to optimize manufacturing processes and improve system efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate PLC/HMI systems with existing equipment and infrastructure.
- Configure and troubleshoot PLC hardware and software components, including Rockwell RSLogix, Modicon Unity Pro, and other programming environments.
- Design and implement SCADA systems using Rockwell FactoryTalk, Wonderware InTouch, or similar software platforms.
- Interface with databases (e.g., SQL) to retrieve and store process data for analysis and reporting purposes.
- Conduct system testing and validation to ensure reliability, safety, and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Provide technical support and training to operations and maintenance staff on PLC/HMI systems and related equipment.
- Stay informed about emerging technologies and best practices in industrial automation and PLC programming.
- Adhere to project schedules, budgets, and quality standards to meet client expectations and project objectives.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in PLC programming and industrial automation.
- Proficiency in PLC programming languages (e.g., ladder logic, structured text) and HMI development.
- Hands-on experience with Allen Bradley, Schneider, or similar PLC hardware and software platforms.
- Familiarity with Rockwell RSLogix, Modicon Unity Pro, or other PLC programming environments.
- Experience with SCADA software such as Rockwell FactoryTalk, Wonderware InTouch, or equivalent.
- Knowledge of database systems and SQL for data integration and reporting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for project installations and support activities.
