Standard Work Hours

  • 1st Shift: Monday – Thursday, 5:00 AM to 3:00 PM

Compensation

  • Hourly Rate: $35.90 – $40.03 (commensurate with experience and qualifications)
  • Sign-On Bonus: $5,000 upon successful hiring
  • This compensation package reflects the importance and responsibility of this role

Must-Have Qualifications

  • Two-year associate degree and 2–4 years of work experience required
  • Ability to utilize a computer to search for parts and enter work into a CMMS
  • Experience designing minor electrical circuits and troubleshooting electrical, PLC, and electronic systems used to control machines and equipment
  • Experience troubleshooting hydraulic and pneumatic circuits
  • Ability to install electrical and electronic controls on machines by reading and interpreting schematics or blueprints
  • Knowledge of electrical power and water distribution systems
  • Ability to perform basic mechanical repairs
  • Capable of interpreting blueprints, and working from sketches or verbal instructions

Responsibilities

  • Design, test, and troubleshoot electrical circuits, PLCs, and electronic systems
  • Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems
  • Install controls based on schematics or blueprints
  • Perform mechanical repairs and dismantle machinery to replace parts
  • Monitor performance of electrical equipment and replace when necessary
  • Assemble, install, test, and adjust electrical fixtures and panels
  • Layout and install new services, panels, breakers, and conduits
  • Direct and support lower-classification technicians when needed
  • Handle general maintenance, including power distribution under supervision
  • Participate in a variety of tasks as directed by Group Leader

Additional Requirements

  • Ability to stand, sit, bend, and stoop for extended periods
  • Capable of lifting at least 50 pounds
  • Must pass a pre-employment physical, drug screen, and background check
